ABUS has an answer to every bicycle trend. With this frame lock you protect your bike with extra wide tires.
The SHIELD™ 5650L frame lock is the enlarged standard version of the SHIELD™ 5650 frame lock from ABUS. With the special version, the bike lock meets the bicycles that have extra wide tires. With 78 mm in the inner width, the lock has an extra large wheel passage and can thus also be mounted on wheels with so-called balloon tires. The installation is simple and is done by attaching the lock to the rear stays.

8.5 mm thick locking shackle
The shackle, housing and supporting parts of the locking mechanism are made of specially hardened steel
Locking mechanism for easy connection of accessories in the lock housing
Extra large wheel passage (enlarged compared to standard version 5650)
In the R version, the key remains in the cylinder when the lock is open, in the NR version it can be removed
Mounting and transport
LH - As an alternative mounting option, if no holes are available on the rear frame, the tension strap LH adapter is used.

Frame locks are an easy and quick protection against unauthorized use of the bike
Through the connection options 4960, 5850, 5650 Cable and Chain, the security can be significantly increased
It is also highly recommended to use a secondary lock next to the frame lock
