INCREDIBLY POWERFUL: With 130 mm travel at the front and other specifications, the Epic 8 EVO feels right at home on light to medium singletrack and swallows a few bumps with ease. You will be overwhelmed by the performance of the progressive geometry, which shines in technical terrain, ensures fast acceleration and impresses with efficiency on climbs. The extremely high torsional rigidity of the frame guarantees the most precise handling. The most powerful 120 mm bike, only even more powerful.

DON'T GET SHOCKED: The new Epic 8 EVO absorbs 12% more shock and vibration forces, so you tire more slowly and perform better for longer. While others are already at the end, you can easily ride one or two more laps.

DAMPER TUNING FROM THE WORKSHOP: The Specialized Ride Dynamics team adapts all dampers to our best mountain bikes with a special tuning. This is also the case with the Epic 8 EVO, whose damping characteristics not only improve performance in the downcountry, but also the riding experience as a whole. By perfecting the interplay of shock, leverage ratios and kinematics, we can create a mountain bike that performs better as a unit than the sum of its parts.

SYMBIOSIS OF HUMAN AND MACHINE: Thanks to the optimised kinematics of the suspension, our Ride Dynamics team was able to reduce pedal-induced bobbing by as much as 20% - the suspension remains active while riders remain in the optimum position for maximum pedalling efficiency. Of the full-suspension mountain bikes we tested, the Epic 8 is the most pedalling efficient.
