ASSEMBLY & MOUNTING

Assembly & installation - We make it easy for you!

Bicycle mail order can be a bit confusing at first glance, can't it? Don't worry! Here we've created a simple guide to explain all the important aspects of bike shipping to you. Our goal? To show you how carefully we prepare your new bike for shipping and to help you when it arrives. Sounds good? Then let's get started!

Our love of detail

Before your bike goes on its journey, we fully assemble it and carry out an extensive technical inspection. Yes, we may be a little picky, but this is the only way we can ensure that every single component is working properly. With e-bikes, we also make sure that the latest system update is installed. Only when we are absolutely satisfied do we lovingly pack your bike for shipping.

Our shipping partners

For shipping within Germany, we have been working with our partner GO! Express for some time now. Thanks to this strong partnership, we can guarantee super fast as well as insured shipping. In Switzerland, we rely on our forwarding partner Streck Transport, who delivers our bikes safely and reliably across the border.

Packaging with heart

We take great care when packing your bike. We usually remove the front wheel and turn or dismantle the handlebars. The pedals are not yet mounted and all loose parts are carefully secured to the frame. And because we love your new bike as much as you do, we use bubble wrap and foam padding for optimal protection. This way we can guarantee that your new bike will arrive in perfect condition.

Your tool checklist for the assembly

  • 4 Allen key - your faithful helper for the little things.
  • 5 mm Allen key - For the bigger tasks.
  • Pedal spanner - your ticket to cycling adventure.
  • Side cutter or cutter - For clean removal of the packaging.
  • T-25 Torx - A special tool for special tasks.

Unpack the bike

Carefully take your bike out of the box and remove all packaging material. Make sure you don't miss any loose parts and don't damage anything when unpacking. It's almost like Christmas, isn't it?

Mount handlebar

First loosen the stem bolts. Then position the handlebars centrally in the stem and fit the stem clamping plate. Make sure the handlebars are straight and then tighten the stem bolts. Now you have your handlebar in your hand!

Mount front wheel

First remove the thru axle or quick release and the transport lock on the brake. Then insert the front wheel and insert the thru axle or quick release. Tighten the axles to secure the wheel. Just one more small step until the first ride!

Mount pedals

Apply a little grease to the pedal threads and tighten the pedals in the direction of travel. Pay attention to the marking on the pedals. The right pedal has a right-hand thread and the left pedal has a left-hand thread. It is also important to make sure that you tighten the pedals properly. And you are ready to conquer the streets!
