Do not worry, friends of the metal. The Stumpjumper Comp Alloy lives on and has one of the most advanced aluminum frames ever developed. With its asymmetrical design, all-new geometry, refined kinematics and specs that represent the optimal combination of price and performance, it's ready for the real thing.

THE TRAIL BENCHMARK: When we set out to design the Stumpjumper, we had some juicy goals. We wanted it to be the lightest bike possible, but without sacrificing durability for it. We wanted a stiff chassis that would pull around corners like it was on rails and a geometry that everyone could enjoy. All this then paired with the best suspension kinematics we know how to design.

130 MM OF SPRING PATH THAT TAKES THE TRAIL: Even the most suspension travel is useless without the right kinematics, which is why we put them at the forefront of the Stumpjumper design. Using lessons learned from the Enduro suspension design and more than 1,000 hours of development on the trail and in the suspension lab, we've significantly improved uphill pedaling performance while creating a powerful, efficient and lively bike that every biker craves. In addition, anti-squat behavior has been increased so that the suspension resists bobbing better. Cornering obstacles are now also better swallowed, resulting in less lost speed. Bottom line? The Stumpjumper rocks any trail downhill with control, yet climbs any uphill with ease.

PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY: The S-sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the sweet spot. Long, low, flat, a low offset fork, a steeper seat tube angle all make your ride a better experience. With the adjustable flip chip, you can tailor the bike to any conditions and make sure your Stumpjumper is tuned for any terrain.

RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™: Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a frame size-dependent approach to keep ride characteristics identical across all sizes. Whether you're a small S1 rider or the giant on the S6 bike, the ride characteristics remain the same. Cornering like you're on rails and balanced stiffness between the front and rear wheels.
