The bottom bracket of the Dura-Ace R9100 series is designed for use in road, triathlon and time trial. It is available in the installation types BSA and ITA with a housing width of 68 mm or 70 mm and has an axle diameter of 24 mm (Hollowtech II). The bearing is made of steel and the inner bearing shell is made of aluminum. It is recommended for use with Dura-Ace FC-R9200, FC-R9200-P, FC-R9100, FC-R9100-P and FC-9000 cranks. The bottom bracket has small ball bearings for light weight and anodized bearing shells.
